Pennies for PJ's

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Delta Zeta Chapter and Earhart School raised money for the Pennies of PJ's project.  All money raised went to buy clothes, toys and gift cards for nearly 40 Alameda students and their families.  The Delta Kappa Gamma Society, Delta Zeta Chapter donated pajamas, books and over $700 and Earhart added an additional $2,095 to that!

Heifer Project

The 5th grade class has been working hard on the "Heifer Project" - a service project to raise money to donate to Heifer International.   This project is meant to empower out students to be seeds of change and to lift up families far away to have a better life and to pass the gift on in their communities.

The students have done an amazing job of getting all the donated items sorted, organized and priced for the store.  The store which opened up earlier this week has been a huge success.  The 5th graders are not the only ones who have a fun time in the store.  The students who come to purchase gifts for their families are also having fun.

Thank you to the 5th grade class, Ms. Schmitz, Ms. Golden and Mr. Gross for their help and dedication on this worthwhile project. Thank you to all the families who donated as well as the students who purchased from the store.

Heifer Project Slide Show

Here at Earhart, all staff members are spoiled by our PTA and Parent community.  Today, every staff member was treated to a beautiful plate of cookies.  We can't thank the PTA and all the parents enough for all your generosity.

Below is just a small slide show of the cookies, the volunteers and the finished plates.

For this PTA sponsored event and all other PTA events, please visit their website.
