Amelia Earhart was created by artist Jane DeDecker.  The statue was donated by Dick Davis with the support from the Frank Bette Center for the Arts.

Amelia Earhart Awarded Gold Ribbon 2016

The California Distinguished School program has been replaced for the last two years by Gold Ribbon School. The Gold Ribbon honors outstanding California public schools for their exemplary achievements. Earhart was honored for their innovative program MSTEM.

Destination Imagination

Earhart School has 5 Destination Imagination Teams.  This past weekend, all teams competed for a place in the State Competition.  Earhart has 1 team representing us.  We are so proud of our students.  Here are all the teams.

Zoo Day at the Library

Your school and students will be happy to hear about Zoo Day coming up Sat. March 24 from 11-4 at Alameda Free Library.

All families invited to this special day with a fun lineup that includes:


Oakland Zoo at 11:00

Wild Animals Inc. at 1:00

Tracy the Animal Guy at 3:00


Creative animal-themed crafts in between live animal visits.  We're not kitten around...alpaca the kids into the car or on your bike and head to Main Library for animal fun!
