Amelia Earhart

Amelia Earhart was created by artist Jane DeDecker.  The statue was donated by Dick Davis with the support from the Frank Bette Center for the Arts.

Amelia Earhart Awarded Gold Ribbon 2016

The California Distinguished School program has been replaced for the last two years by Gold Ribbon School. The Gold Ribbon honors outstanding California public schools for their exemplary achievements. Earhart was honored for their innovative program MSTEM.

Do you know of a teacher that is supports all students in learning, understands and is organized in the subject matter, designs a learning experience for all students.  If so, you can nominate them for the Teacher of the Year Program. 

The Teacher of the Year Program is designed to honor and recognize excellent teachers working in the Alameda Unified School District.  this is a unique opportunity to provide well-deserved recognition for the whole teaching profession, as well as for the distinguished teachers that are nominated. 

Please note that all completed nominations are DUE to the Nominee's Principal by 3:00 PM, Friday, February 2, 2018
