Innovative Science Night

Thursday, November 3rd from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. is our first Innovative Science Night.  Join us for an evening of ecology, geology, astronomy, art and music.  The evening begins with musical performances by students across grade levels.  Following the music, there will be multiple smaller sessions of hands on science and math activities.  Our educational partners from the East Bay Astronomical Society will have their telescopes set up on the blacktop for star and planet gazing.  It will be a late evening, but well worth the effort.  Make sure to dress warmly.

Please note the new time for Innovative Night.

Reminder about this year's PTA Reflections theme:  What Is Your Story?

There is still time to participate!  October is National Arts & Humanities Month and we want to encourage your child to unleash  their inner artist through PTA's Reflections Arts Program!

Support your child's participation and grow their confidence.  This year's theme, "What Is Your Story?" encourages students to think about who they are and what they want others to know about them.

Students can choose any or all of the following categories:

Dance Choreography,

Film Production,

Music Composition,

Visual Arts

Students will create an original artwork (or more than one!) that reflects this year's theme in a unique and beautiful way.  Submissions will be reviewed at the school level, then the artworks will be chosen to continue tot he regional level.

All submissions must be received by:  Friday, November 4, 2016

For more information about submission requirements, artist's statement guidelines, entry forms, and other details, contact Rosemary Sallee, / 505-310-5481.  Thanks!
